SolarPortal is an extremely powerful and flexible web native (.Net V2) system for the Instalment Finance and Leasing Industry that is designed to provide secure access to certain data relevant to selected third party users.
SolarPortal is designed to provide third parties such as Customers, Introducers and Funders with access to “their own” data, on a selective basis, as agreed by the Finance and Leasing Company owning the data. The data accessed is automatically filtered based on the user’s log-in parameters.
SolarPortal is typically designed to the specific Client’s requirements, on a fixed price, fixed timescale basis.
Typical Scenario
SolarPortal can be set-up to provide access to third parties, typically, Customers, Introducers and Funders. However, access can be provided to any “Contact” that is associated with a Proposal or Agreement.
An actual example of a SolarPortal Implementation provided:

- Current Agreement balances, including Arrears

SolarPortal is a fully scaleable native web based system that is very simple and efficient to implement with instant deployment. As a totally web native system, SolarPortal not only has access to other web systems, but also allows remote users access to relevant parts of the system within a secure environment.
SolarPortal is developed entirely using the C# programming language (Web) and is totally object-oriented.
SolarPortal uses Microsoft’s SQL Server™ database for high performance and scalability. Reporting Services and other SQL and provided tools may be used to create reports, documents and other output.
SolarPortal makes extensive use of stored procedures and XML. In particular all calculations are passed using XML to Jupiter the powerful Copernicus calculation, evaluation and accounting engine.
